How about you?

As an artist I also offer exclusive sessions for people like you. You are interested in taking the plunge, a shoot all about yourself. Portrait, glamour, maybe an intimate boudoir shoot, or why not go all the way for a fine art nude session with an erotic touch? Exciting, certainly, and maybe even a little scary if you go for the latter option and you never did this before. I am pleased to give you some additional information about portrait, glamour, boudoir, art nude or erotic photography.

What is Portrait/Glamour/Boudoir/Nude/Erotic?

Some might find an image boudoir, while someone else would call it erotic. You don’t need to be nude to give an erotic impression, and nude is not per sé erotic. Hard to explain in words, that’s why I give you some examples of images that fall into each of the categories. These categories might mix up during the shoot, but if you tell me about your own limits before the shoot it is easier for me to know what you expect.
Portrait photoshoot: A genuine, spontane look into the camera. No special clothing or accessories needed. A relaxed atmosphere and some camera confidence will do the trick.
Glamour photoshoot: Images with a touch of luxury and class, clothing, accessories and make up adapted to this style of images. No nudity or lingerie.

Boudoir photoshoot:  You in your intimate cabinet, in lingerie, nightgown or even implied nude if you want to. Make up adapted.

Nude photoshoot: Your physical body photographed in the most attractive of ways. Transparent clothing, topless or completely nude.

Erotic photoshoot: You in your sexual power, photographed in a tasteful manner, yet with a touch of naughty. This can be the extent of nude, but it doesn’t have to be nude. A pose or an accessory can trigger a lot of fantasies.

Why would you want a portrait/glamour/boudoir/nude or erotic photoshoot?

There are a lot of reasons to do so, I will name a few that you might relate to:
  • You want some beautiful pictures of yourself, for now or as a souvenir for later.
  • You want to surprise your partner, friend or girlfriend.
  • You want to give visual expression of your intimate relationship, for shared joy.
  • You received a gift voucher for a photoshoot with me.
  • Your figure will change due to a surgical procedure, and you want pictures from how your body looked like before.
  • You are pregnant and you would like to have a souvenir of this blessed state as a memory. (this can be a one time session, or a session that is divided into sequences during pregnancy)
  • You want to overcome your own limits or fears about your body.
  • read some testimonials here, written by women that had a photoshoot with me.

What to expect during a photoshoot?

Let’s first make an exception for a classical portrait session: You come to my place in Ronse, or we meet at any other location. We discuss your expectations, and I start a conversation with you about your life. I will make images during this conversation, trying to capture your natural self. We work for about an hour, and I will have a good mixture of posed and spontaneous portraits.

What about a Glamour/Boudoir/Nude/Erotic photoshoot?

For this kind of photoshoot I always make sure to take more time. The intimate character of the shoot will require some more attention and confidence, and this needs time. You can bring a partner, friend or relative to attend the shoot if you are not completely at ease. You also bring a suitcase with clothing that fits you well, that makes you feel good and sexy, eventually also lingerie. You can also bring shoes, jewellery as well as accessories (scarf, hat, gloves, …). You can bring your own body-lotion if you have chosen the nude option. You will be a little stressed, that is absolutely normal. I will receive you with a cup of coffee or tea and we discuss what your expectations are. If you chose the option to have a make up done, then the make up artist will take care of you while I prepare my gear. If you prefer doing your make up yourself, please have it done before arrival. For a photoshoot, it can be a little stronger than what you usually wear.
Then we take a look at what you brought in your suitcase and consider the options to start with. We respect your boundaries, nothing needs to be, you are the customer and decide what you want. This can be fully clothed, eventually up to fully nude. A standard shoot takes two hours, but you can always book an extra hour if you want to give yourself this extra time. Shorter sessions are to be avoided, you will probably need some time to get used to the situation. Most of the women I photograph, tell me to be more nervous before the shoot than when we are working together. During the shoot you can change clothing sets while I build new decoration or light situations. We work at your pace. You can see a couple of videos of me working here, here and here. (boudoir/nude photoshoot)
After the shoot I make a selection of the best images for you to choose from, your selection will be fine-tuned and retouched for best results. You receive them digitally, without watermark in high resolution. You can make your own prints from those images. Of course you can come to me for prints as well, I have suppliers for all kinds of mounting and framing options.

Where is the photoshoot taking place?

The shoot can take place in my own studio in Ronse, or outdoors, or even at your place, but a lot of people/couples choose to have the shoot take place in a hotel room or B&B where they stay for the occasion and make it more of an event in full. If you want to book a room or location, I rather have some space, and enough available light to work with. If you are in doubt, just ask me. An alternative can be that I book a location for you. I will ask a little booking fee and a larger downpayment.

What happens with my images?

Your images will never be disclosed to others without your explicit approval. All images on this site are either made with professional models, or with clients that have given explicit agreement for publication. Your images will be kept in my archive for 2 years, so you have plenty of time to pick your favourite for a bedroom poster.

What does it cost?

For a portrait session, you’ll find the budget here.
